Best and Fairest: Chris Draper

Season Overview: The season didn’t work out as hoped for the A Grade as the injuries started to pile up from the first game of the season and the team couldn’t recover from it. Key player James Siviour went down injured in round one and this started a domino effect of injuries and constant team changes in the first half of the season. The side bounced back in the second half of the season to record four wins in their last eight games. Chris Draper was superb all season and won the best and fairest. Fullback Ben Rogers was again strong in defence and was named in the KNTFL Team Of the Year for the second year in a row. 2025 looks to be set as a bounce-back year with a new coach and recruits in place that the club hopes will see the team back in the finals.

Reserves

Win-Loss Record: 5-11 (7th)

Leading Goal Kickers: Connor Baker 25, Tyler Baker 24, Luke Watson 7, Harrison Stenner 7, Tyson Baker 6, Liam Braithwaite 6, Travis Burns 6.

Most Times In The Best: Josh Gluyas 13, Connor Baker 10, Jason Milligan 9, Tyler Baker 7, Tanner Baker 5, Jordan Richards 5.

Best and Fairest: Jason Milligan

Season Overview: With the A Grade having lots of injuries during the season, the reserves team found it tough to get a settled lineup for most of the season. The team was in the running for a finals chase up until the last five games. Jason Milligan had a consistent season to win the best and fairest. Jason also was runner-up in the league medal. The team would have high hopes of a finals charge in 2025 if everything goes the team’s way. Josh Gluyas, Connor Baker and Tyler Baker were other players who had good seasons for the team.

Senior Colts

Win-Loss Record: 7-8 (5th)

Leading Goal Kickers: Zac Hatch 26, Jack Murdock 14, Liam Braithwaite 14, Luke Watson 13, J-de Peterson 12, Lachlan Worthley 9.

Most Times In The Best: Liam Braithwaite 11, Zac Hatch 10, Oliver Clarke 7, Charley Robinson 7, J-de Peterson 6, Mason McKenny 6, Luke Watson 6.

Best and Fairest: Liam Braithwaite

Season Overview: The Saints Senior Colts had a good year of growth that ended up with a finals appearance. The team did a great job of fielding a competitive side every week as they had to get some Junior Colts or players from the opposing clubs to help with numbers. Making the finals was a bonus. The team lost a close elimination final to Mundulla that ended their season. Zac Hatch, Liam Braithwaite, Luke Watson and Oliver Clarke are some of the emerging young players who produced consistent seasons for the team.

Junior Colts

Win-Loss Record: 0-14 (9th)

Leading Goal Kickers: Jacob Mules 7, Jonathan Braithwaite 2

Most Times In The Best: William Ogilvie 13, Jacob Mules 12, Beau Schmaal 10, Hudson Menz 8, Taj O’Neill 7, Marley Downward 6, Chase Parr 5.

Best and Fairest: William Ogilvie

Season Overview: A tough winless season for Kingston’s Junior Colts football team in 2024. The young Saints had their moments but couldn’t put four quarters together to get across the line for a victory. Round eight vs Bordertown provided the team’s best chance for a victory. The Roosters held on against the Saints by six points. William Ogilvie, Jacob Mules and Beau Schmaal were consistently in the best players for most of the season. Hudson Menz was another who improved in 2024. The team is young and 2025 provides another season to get more growth and get some wins as the team gets bigger and stronger.
